Our Mission:
To assist laboring women and their partners as they bring their precious
children into the light.
What is a Doula? & Why do I need one?

  • A Doula is a woman who has been professionally trained to support
    women in labor.
  • A Doula provides you with emotional support, physical comfort and
    information throughout labor and delivery.
  • A Doula supports your loved ones during labor and instructing them
on how best to help you.
  • While Doulas remain at your side continuously throughout labor,
they do not provide medical care or make decisions for you.
  • A Doula is there to support your choices.
Benefits of Doula Care

  • Reduction in epidural use by 16%
  • Reduction in forceps & vacuum extraction deliveries by 32%
  • Reduction of cesarean deliveries by 21%
  • Reduction in length of labor
  • Increased maternal satisfaction
